The State Duma of the Russian Federation proposed doubling the amount of tax deductions
Deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on Tuesday, February 6, will consider a bill that provides for doubling the amount of tax deductions.
As one of the authors of the initiative, the head of the faction “A Just Russia – For Truth” Sergei Mironov, said, since 2016 in the Russian Federation the amount of tax deductions for children and the threshold of the maximum annual income for receiving these deductions have not been revised.
“Over the past years, both the level of average monthly nominal wages and inflation have increased. The current amounts of deductions no longer correspond to either socio-economic realities or government goals of supporting families with children,” he said.
