Rosobrnadzor will divide the regions into three groups depending on the efficiency of work and indicators of the quality of education. This was stated by the head of the department Anzor Muzaev, speaking at a conference on assessing the quality of education.

“When forming its ratings, from next year Rosobrnadzor will refuse to rank regions by places and will only divide them into three groups depending on the efficiency of work and indicators of the quality of education,” reports press office departments of the word of Mr. Muzaev.

At the conference, the head of Rosobrnadzor also said that one of the main tasks of the department is licensing and accreditation of educational organizations in new regions of Russia. “Prior to obtaining a permanent license, a temporary license will be issued, and the transition process should go without stress tests for education systems,” he said.

Rosobrnadzor and the Federal Institute for Educational Quality Assessment (FIOKO) published rating of regions of the Russian Federation by the quality of school education in March 2021. St. Petersburg, Moscow and the Leningrad region took the first places in the ranking, Ingushetia, Dagestan and Chechnya took the last three places.
