Roskosmos Corporation has specified the information on the timing of the withdrawal from the International Space Station project.
The statement notes that the date of Russia’s withdrawal from the ISS project will be determined by its technical condition.
“It could be 2025, or 2028, or 2030,” said Sergey Krikalev, executive director of Roscosmos for manned programs.
Earlier, the CEO of Roskosmos, Yuri Borisov, said that the exit process would begin after 2024. According to him, this process will be carried out in strict accordance with the obligations of Russia and, according to experts, it can take up to two years. At the same time, the exit process from the ISS will be synchronized with the creation of a new Russian Orbital Service Station (ROSS).
