Employees of IT companies excluded from the state register will retain a preferential mortgage rate

The exclusion of an employer from the register of IT companies accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development will not be the basis for revising the preferential mortgage rate for IT specialists working in this company. This was announced to Vedomosti by a representative of the ministry. According to him, the preferential mortgage interest rate will be increased only if the borrower quits and does not start working in another IT company, which is on the register, within three months.

Now this register includes almost 30,000 organizations, among which “Yandex”, VK, Kaspersky Lab, Positive Technologies, etc. On August 1, the Ministry of Digital Transformation excluded from the register more than 400 companies for which IT is not the main activity. Among them were Sberbank, VTB, Alfa Bank“Tinkoff bank“,”Opening“, Gazprombank, ICD and a number of other major banks. The Bank of Russia, the National Payment Card System, the Moscow Exchange and the National Settlement Depository were also removed from the register.
