Roskomnadzor requested information from the Start online cinema about data leakage

Roskomnadzor asked the Start online cinema for information about a possible data leak of users registered on the platform. According to the representatives of the platform, no valuable information got into the network.

“Roskomnadzor sent a request to the company with a request to provide detailed information about a possible leak of personal data of service customers,” the agency said.

The day before, the Start team confirmed there is a leak of user data in your Telegram channel. According to the representatives of the platform, the leaked information basically cannot be of interest to intruders, in addition, the vulnerability itself has already been fixed. In particular, the phone numbers of users of the online cinema, as well as some of the email addresses as of 2021, got into the network. The leaked database did not contain either passwords or bank card data of customers.

On August 29, the existence of a database leak was also confirmed by the express delivery service CDEK. In total, 120,000 lines of information were leaked from the CDEK.Shopping and CDEK.Market services. Among the leaked data were names, phone numbers, email addresses, passwords, dates of birth and creation of a customer profile.

In early August, Roskomnadzor also requested information about the leakage of personal data from the Pyaterochka retail chain. In July, the regulator drew up an administrative protocol regarding the Delivery Club food delivery service due to the leakage of personal data, and also sent a request to the company “Beeline» in order to check the leakage of customer data of the service.
