The Roscosmos State Corporation published satellite images of flooding in the Orenburg region. The most difficult situation arose in Orsk, where on the evening of April 5 a dam on the Ural River broke, after which water flooded a number of districts of the city.

Let us remind you that more than 6 thousand residential buildings, 9 thousand personal plots and 40 low-water bridges were in the flood zone. Over 6.1 thousand people, including almost 1.5 thousand children, were evacuated. Local authorities announced the start of the evacuation about two hours before the dam broke. According to the decision of the authorities of the Orenburg region, the affected residents of Orsk will receive payments in the amount of 20 thousand rubles, and in case of loss of property – from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles.
