Roma fans attack British referee at airport

British referee Anthony Taylor, who served as the chief referee for the 2022/23 Europa League final between Sevilla and Roma, was attacked by fans of the Italian club.
Taylor and his family were surrounded by violent Roman fans at the Budapest airport as they prepared to take off.
Fans shouted insults at the referee. Video circulating on social media shows Taylor and his family being escorted to safety by police.
Recall that Sevilla beat Roma in the penalty shoot-out. After the game, the head coach of the Romans, Jose Mourinho, subjected the work of the referees to harsh criticism.
