Archers of Buryatia brought home six medals of the Cup of Russia

Buryat archers won six medals at the Russian Archery Cup that ended today, June 2. The Cup for persons with lesions of the musculoskeletal system has been held in the Tula region since May 28.
According to the Ministry of Sports of the Republic, more than 70 athletes from 19 regions of Russia competed for the title of the best.
Bair Shigaev and Chingis Balzhiev became the winners in the individual championship in compound archery. In the team competition, Dashi Dolzhina and Sergey Khutakov won gold.
Silver in the individual championship for Alexander Dorofeev. In the team competition, Pyotr Marzaev, Sergey Khutakov, Bair Shigaev and Tatyana Andrievskaya became silver medalists.
– Ahead of the team are waiting for the Summer Paralympic Games. They will be held from 19 to 24 June. Buryatia will be represented at them in its entirety, – said the Minister of Sports and Youth Policy of the Republic Ivan Kozyrev.
