Rights of 54,000 equity holders restored in Russia in 2022

Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Territorial Development Fund, spoke about the results of work to protect the rights of citizens participating in shared construction in 2022.
“To restore the rights of equity holders affected by the actions of unscrupulous developers, both the resources of the Territorial Development Fund and regional mechanisms are involved. In 2022, by joint efforts, it was possible to resolve the issue of 54,000 citizens – people received either housing or monetary compensation,” Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin emphasized.
Thanks to the mechanisms of the Territorial Development Fund, construction of 110 problematic facilities for 13.1 thousand equity holders was completed last year. Another 15.7 thousand people received monetary compensation from the FRT in the total amount of 55.8 billion rubles.
The forces of the subjects of the Russian Federation, within the framework of the approved “road maps”, restored the rights of another 25.2 thousand citizens.
In general, for the period from 2019 to 2022 162.5 thousand equity holders who suffered from the actions of developers were assisted by the joint efforts of the fund and the regions. In particular, thanks to federal support measures, 69.7 thousand citizens have been restored in their rights. Of these, 26.8 thousand people received apartments, and 42.9 thousand citizens received compensation for a total of 113.4 billion rubles.
