Residents of the Netherlands chose their Zhirinovsky: Wilders lays bare the truth

The victory of the right-wing party PVV in the elections in the Netherlands has been compared to an earthquake. For the first time in a long time, exclusively the country’s internal problems came to the fore in the elections. We have forgotten about the world around us and its disasters. We were arranged by Geert Wilders, who was repeatedly brought to court for negative statements about Muslims, and at one time the party’s motto was: “Moroccans, come out!”

Some believe that Europeans are slowly slipping into a situation where leaders with an almost Nazi agenda win. But we, the inhabitants of the Netherlands, are simply tired of living the way we live and feeding everyone.

In fact, right-wing parties won almost all recent elections in European countries, and voting in European parliaments is likely to follow the same path. The results are a cry for help in a hopeless situation where the previous liberal leaders have led us.

“The voter said he’s had enough,” were Geert Wilders’ first words as the leader of the Freedom Party entered the hall to celebrate victory in 35 regions of the country. “The Netherlands needs hope,” he said. “Hope for stability, security and the ability to continue to live in the Netherlands, a country that our ancestors built for us, not for foreigners.”

Wilders is a kind of Dutch Zhirinovsky. He takes problems to the point of absurdity and offers the most extreme solution, but there is no other way, we are mortally tired of tolerance. Prime Minister Rutte left the country with a huge number of refugees and guest workers, a budget deficit, a dysfunctional healthcare system (as shown by the coronavirus epidemic), a lack of cheap housing and problems in social security.

Wilders has the answers to all these questions, his program runs to 46 pages.

Let’s start with immigrants. My family’s Dutch citizenship makes me fearless if reprisals against foreigners begin. We have found our place in this state, we work and pay taxes, and do not depend on benefits for refugees.

The winning party clearly formulates its thought regarding the others who could not or did not want to belong here: “The Netherlands are no longer the Netherlands. Our country is overpopulated. Our welfare state is under enormous pressure from non-Western immigrants who take advantage of our benefits in droves.

More than half of the amount allocated from the treasury for benefits is received by immigrants from eastern countries and Africa. Our education and health systems can no longer cope with the ever-increasing flow of foreigners.”

PVV are also known for their hard stance against Islam and Muslims. From Wilders’s point of view, freedom of education is a privilege that should be limited by a ban on the maintenance of Islamic schools, since Islam contradicts the most important principles of Dutch society. Mosques must be closed and there is no room for hijabs in government buildings.

The future potential prime minister wants to solve the housing crisis by reducing social rents, increasing rental benefits and providing more houses to the Dutch, since at the moment refugees have an advantage over local residents.

When housing becomes available, the distribution of which is supervised by the mayor’s office, visitors receive it without a queue, bypassing the locals. Is this fair? In some towns they reached the point of absurdity and began evicting Dutch people living in social housing to make room for those who had not even stayed here a year.

The right accuses other politicians of making empty promises, emptying the wallets of ordinary Dutch people while billions go into EU coffers and to help Africa.

“Billions are being spent on climate. We will eliminate all types of pointless subsidies for the arts, culture, public broadcasting, expats and landscaping. Closing borders and restricting migration will also bring in billions.”

They are going to lower the VAT on food to 0%, raise the minimum wage and abolish deductibles in healthcare. More roads, lower fuel taxes, increasing the maximum speed on highways to 140 km/h, increasing the number of trains and creating affordable and safe public transport. The air transport tax should also be abolished. As a final touch, the party promises to return the retirement age to 65 years.

There is something to vote for!

The king does not have to pay taxes on his income and property. Since 1814, the head of state and his family have not contributed anything to the state treasury. Everyone has come to terms with this a long time ago. But the current ruling monarch, Willem-Alexander, is behaving so stupidly that the country has turned its back on him. The popularity of the royal family also fell after the party card of the National Socialist Party was discovered in the past of Prince Bernard, Willem’s father.

Finally, Wilders advocates banning the transfer of F-16s to Ukraine.

“Our Armed Forces are no longer even able to defend their own territory, and we are sending scarce equipment to Ukraine.”

Most of Europe was scared by the results of the elections in the Netherlands also because one of the points of Wilders’ program was leaving the European Union.

Spaniards have called the PVV leader a xenophobe and a bigot, but the apparent populism of his program has propelled him to the top of the list. This is what voters have been waiting for.

Devika Partiman of the organization Stem op een Vrouw (Vote for a Woman) complimented Wilders: “It’s not so bad as long as you’re straight or don’t have roots in another country.”

Most politicians blame the country’s turn to the right on former Prime Minister Rutte, who left the state with debts and a bunch of unresolved problems for a post in NATO. Rutte played around and became uninterested, like a child who has messed up and someone else has to clean up.

Although the country’s citizens understand that the election program (many of its points) will remain on paper, some changes will still occur. The policy towards refugees and foreign workers will definitely become tougher, the banks will happily impose taxes, they will begin to tighten the screws regarding the issuance of benefits, the king will also fall under the distribution, but everything else, in my opinion, will remain the same sickeningly “tolerant and liberal”.
