The Tagansky Court of Moscow fined Google LLC 4 million rubles. for failure to delete information prohibited in Russia (Article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), reported TASS. According to the agency, we are talking about videos on YouTube discrediting the Russian army.
The last time the Tagansky court fined Google was on November 14. Then the company was ordered to pay a fine of 15 million rubles. for refusing to localize the personal data of Russians. Prior to this, in August the court fined Google 3 million rubles. for refusing to delete information about military operations on the territory of Ukraine. In July 2022, the company was fined almost 22 billion rubles. for repeated refusal to delete information subject to restrictions.
In May 2022, it became known that Google intends to liquidate the Russian Google LLC and transfer abroad employees who want to continue working for the American company. In June, Google LLC filed for bankruptcy. In October, the Moscow Arbitration Court on Wednesday declared Google LLC bankrupt.
