A repeat offender nicknamed Spider will go back to prison for another attempt to kidnap a child. At one time, he made kidnapping his specialty, was sentenced to 24 years, but was released early, enlisting in the Wagner PMC, and then took up his old ways.

He took part in the Northern Military District as part of a private military company, even received a medal “For Courage”, after which he returned to civilian life. His brother helped him get registration in Samara by asking his classmate about it. But the Spider decided not only to acquire housing, but also to resume the terrible criminal business. It was the benefactor Maria (name changed), who registered the registration, who was supposed to become the next victim. The attacker planned to kidnap her 8-year-old daughter and demand 15 million rubles for her release. The woman and the girl lived permanently in Mytishchi, near Moscow. It was to their apartment that Spider and his brother arrived after completing the registration process – Maria herself agreed that a classmate would take her for free from Samara. By that time, the Spider had already matured a whole plan. He took as an accomplice another member of the PMC, whom he met in a general chat. In the criminal’s phone, the accomplice was recorded as “Sinister,” and the alleged ransom for the girl was designated as “15 units.” True, Spider was unaware that the accomplice quickly lost interest in the wild idea and reported the impending kidnapping to the FSB. When the company returned to Mytishchi, Maria went to work, leaving the men to sleep under the supervision of her brother. Apparently, during this period the blackmailer intended to kidnap the girl, who was also in the apartment. But after a couple of hours, the security forces came for Spider.

The bandit’s phone contained a lot of indirect evidence of the preparation of the operation. For example, he regularly typed into the Internet queries “Intercom visit, how to open codes without a key,” or “Beacons for tracking a person to buy.” And although Spider himself denied that he was preparing the kidnapping, his criminal past was clearly against the accused. After all, at one time the bandit was involved in three (!) kidnappings of minors for ransom. This time, the Mytishchi City Court sentenced him to 9 years in a maximum security colony.
