The court decided to recover 105 billion rubles from the former owners of Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant JSC and to seize the assets of the largest Russian wine producer, Ariant Group of Companies.
We are talking about a lawsuit against businessman Yuri Antipov and his family. The prosecutor’s office stated that the co-owners of the ChEMK industrial group, Yuri and Lyudmila Antipov, carried out strange financial transactions, and raw materials for the manufacture of weapons were sent abroad in huge quantities.
The Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region considered the case at a meeting on April 5 behind closed doors.
According to the resolution, the court satisfied the claim in favor of the state for the recovery of unjust enrichment of 100% of the shares of Kuban-Vino LLC, Agrofirm Yuzhnaya LLC, Agrofirm Ariant LLC, TsPI-Ariant LLC, Katav-Ivanovsky LLC foundry”.
