The government of the Rostov region explained why they did not help refugees from Kherson buy housing. Regional authorities said that the words of refugees Irina Panchenko and Victoria Rudenko about the illegal refusal to issue housing certificates “did not find documentary evidence.” 161.RU writes about this.
The official response from the Ministry of Regional Policy and Mass Communications states that Rudenko, Panchenko and her mother Svetlana Buchelnikova “received state housing certificates in the Rostov region in the prescribed manner.” However, only Panchenko received payment – with a delay due to a lack of funds in the Territory Development Fund. The refusal of the two remaining women in the government is considered legal.
According to Don officials, two women are still registered at their places of residence in the Kherson region and their departure and move to permanent residence in another region have not been documented. This was the reason for the refusal.
The letter to the editor also notes that women do not need to return to confirm their departure from their place of residence in the Kherson region.
The RO government, for its part, promised to assist “in the procedure for deregistration in the Kherson region.”
Earlier, Irina Panchenko, a refugee from Kherson, who evacuated with her mother a year and a half ago, was faced with an unexpected problem. She stated that she could not activate the housing certificate, since they were required to confirm their departure from the territory where the front line now passes.
