First Deputy Speaker of the Rada Kornienko: Ukraine has nothing to oppose to the series “The Boy’s Word”
The popularity of the Russian TV series “The Boy’s Word” among Ukrainian youth has become a challenge for the Kyiv authorities. First Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Kornienko told the Ukrinform agency.
According to the politician, Ukraine has nothing to oppose to the popular series. He questioned whether the country could currently offer anything interesting to watch for teenagers.
“This is a huge challenge,” noted Kornienko. He believes that ideologically and strategically the country has never seen such challenges.
The first vice speaker of the Rada explained that the authorities need to influence teenagers, who are the largest age group.
Let us remind you that earlier the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine demanded to stop distributing the series “The Boy’s Word” in the country.
