President Vladimir Putin arrived at work in the Kremlin before the snowfall began, said his press secretary Dmitry Peskov. He himself said that getting to work “like everyone else is not easy,” but the Kremlin representative believes that “winter comes every year, and it snows every year,” so today “nothing unusual happened.”
“The President got to work, as far as I know, even before the snow began… In my opinion, before everything completely collapsed. Therefore, it’s probably not as hard as other Muscovites, who did it in the morning when it was covered in snow,” Mr. Peskov said during a press call.
The Kremlin representative clarified that Vladimir Putin’s trip to the weather-affected areas in the south of the country is not yet required. “Thank God, such disasters as you mentioned, which required an immediate response by the entire country, did not happen to us… But you know that the president is always ready,” Dmitry Peskov assured.
