Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees on awarding state prizes in the field of literature and art, human rights, charitable and humanitarian activities for 2022. The award ceremony will take place on June 12, the Day of Russia.
State Prize in Literature and Art awarded:
- To restorers Andrei Golubeiko and Alexandra Orlovskaya for restoring the painting Ivan the Terrible and his son Ivan on November 16, 1581;
- Artistic director of the Pyatnitsky Choir Alexandra Permyakova for her contribution to the preservation and development of the traditions of folk art;
- Producer Konstantin Ernst, director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild for the film “Challenge”.
State Prize for achievements in human rights and charitable activities awarded:
- Olga Demicheva, President of the charitable organization “Doctor Lisa’s Fair Help”;
- Yulia Zimova, Deputy Chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber for the Protection of Children.
State Prize for outstanding achievements in the field of humanitarian activity awarded Director General of Mosfilm Karen Shakhnazarov.
The State Prize is the main Russian prize, which is awarded to scientists and cultural figures for services to society and the state. Laureates receive a reward of 10 million rubles. and badge of honor.
