Russian providers received free access to multi-apartment residential buildings

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law according to which providers receive free access to apartment buildings, RIA Novosti reports.

As noted, the law regulates general requirements for communication networks in multi-apartment residential buildings. Thus, communication networks should be installed free of charge, and providers should have access to them.

In addition, networks in an apartment building are at the request of any of the owners or tenants, while a collective decision of the meeting of owners is not required.

Providers are given a year to reinstall all their equipment to uniform standards.
