The Kurgan governor warned about the threat of flooding

The flood forecast in the Kurgan region is sharply worsening due to growing discharges from neighbors – the head of the region, Vadim Shumkov, announced this in his Telegram channel.

According to his information, water will arrive in the region in two to three days, and in the regional center itself in four days. The peak flood in Kurgan is expected in seven days.

The governor asked local residents not to wait for additional warnings. “Gather things, documents, relatives and friends, pets, move out of the flooded areas… Commands have been given. Services are working. We will survive the damage, we will restore property, the main thing is to avoid casualties,” wrote Vadim Shumkov.
