Putin promised to deal with the education of migrant children in Russian schools

All children should study, but we cannot pretend that there is no problem with the education of migrant children in Russian schools. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about this on Monday, December 4, at a meeting of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights.
The Russian leader commented on the problem of insufficient knowledge of the Russian language by migrant children who study in Russian schools. Putin stressed that this process should not be accompanied by a deterioration in the educational conditions of Russian children.
The President promised to give appropriate instructions to deal with this problem.
Earlier, Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov promised that diagnostic tests would be introduced in Russian schools for children of migrants to determine their level of proficiency in the Russian language. The head of the Ministry of Education confirmed that questions remain in this area, as well as in the field of general adaptation of migrant children.
The head of the Novosibirsk branch of the Union of Fathers, Sergei Mayorov, supported the idea of preschool education for migrant children. The social activist also proposed sending home teenagers who refuse to socialize in Russian society.
