President Vladimir Putin instructed the government and administration to extend the exhibition and forum “Russia” at VDNKh until July 8. This was reported by press service Kremlin.

According to the president’s instructions, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino must submit a report on this issue by May 1. In particular, they must provide the necessary funding and information support, as well as make appropriate changes to legal acts.

On January 21, Vladimir Putin said that he wanted to ask “his colleagues” to extend the exhibition into the summer. “After all, there will be a large number… Yes, a large number of people come to Moscow, millions of people, they will come with pleasure,” he said then.

The exhibition-forum “Russia” opened at VDNH in Moscow on November 4, 2023. It was originally supposed to end on April 12, 2024. The exhibition features expositions of 89 regions of Russia, federal departments, corporations and public organizations. At the beginning of February, the exhibition management reported that 6 million people visited the exhibition during its three months of operation.
