Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Federal Cabinet of Ministers and his administration to ensure an extension of the international exhibition and forum “Russia” until July 8, 2024 inclusive.

According to the Kremlin press service, Putin ordered to provide funding and information support for this, as well as to make appropriate changes to the legal acts of the Russian Federation.

In addition, an instruction was given to prepare proposals for the creation of a national center “Russia” in Moscow with branches in different territories.

The Russian leader highly appreciated the exhibition-forum, which he himself visited several times. On February 1, Vladimir Putin came to the Russia exhibition for the fourth time to inspect some of the pavilions. Before that, the president came to VDNKh during the All-Russian Family Forum “Relative – Loved Ones” at the opening ceremony of the Year of the Family.

Expressing the idea of prolonging the exhibition, the head of state noted that “a large number of people come to Moscow, millions of people will be happy to come” to VDNKh. Putin also suggested thinking about broadcasting the experience of the Russia exhibition and forum to Russian regions, since “This is a successful experiment”.
