Putin declared priority attention to the development of the physical culture movement in Russia

Putin noted that in Russia “training and recreation complexes, ice palaces and stadiums are being built,” and the
large-scale events in the Russian regions, such as the Ski Track of Russia, the Cross of the Nation, the Rural Sports Games, contribute to the popularization of sports, as well as the education of new record holders and champions.
The president expressed special gratitude to sports coaches, teachers, instructors, mentors and all industry specialists. He also stressed that this year marks the 100th anniversary of the creation of the state management system in the field of physical culture and sports.
