Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the opening of modern Russian campuses in Moscow, Bashkiria, Tatarstan, Perm Territory and Ugra via video link. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin told the head of state about the opening of a research center and library building on the Bauman MSTU campus.
“It’s very difficult to do in Moscow, but nevertheless you can do it too. Don’t be greedy there, this is very important for the development of such large establishments,” said Vladimir Putin (quoted by “RIA News”).
The president called the opening of campuses in different regions a good example of partnership between the state and business in developing the human intellectual potential of Russia. He suggested taking into account the experience gained in the design and construction of campuses in urban planning and landscaping.
Vladimir Putin also accepted the offer of the head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, to visit the region. In the republic, according to him, there is a “good land” and hospitable people. The head of state said that he would try to visit other regions where educational campuses have been opened.
