Russia gained valuable experience in confronting the most advanced weapons systems of Western countries during a special operation in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, congratulating the Rostec state corporation on its 15th anniversary.
“This is a very good experience that should be used to improve the quality and reliability, the combat characteristics of some of our weapons, domestic military products,” he said.
He also called on Rostec to increase the production of everything necessary for the Russian army and actively cooperate with the military department in this area. According to the President, the country also needs to stimulate internal competition between manufacturers, as well as to promote the speedy start of mass production of the best weapons created on the basis of what has already proven itself in practice and confirmed its high potential.
Earlier, it was repeatedly reported that during the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces used and tested the most modern weapons, for example, the 5th generation Su-57 fighter, combat laser systems, and other systems.
