An initiative group of promoters and couriers of Tinkoff Bank intends to file a class action lawsuit against the financial organization. According to the group’s letter (Kommersant has it), the reason for starting a trial is the shortfall of “thousands of employees” of the bank about 40% of payments since March. It is clarified that these employees work under a civil law contract (GPC). The main requirement of the class action lawsuit in the letter is the recognition of GPC contracts as labor contracts.
“In March, representatives of Tinkoff … received 40% less payments than in previous months with the same schedule. The immediate supervisors assured the employees that there had been a mistake and promised that the bank would “charge” the amounts unfairly withheld. However, the next month the situation repeated itself, and the recalculation for March amounted to only a few hundred rubles, although the workers were missing 30–50 thousand,” the authors of the letter describe the situation.
According to them, the problem may affect 11,000 people — those who deliver banking and SIM cards to customers and present banking products.
In April, the share of the founder of Tinkoff Bank Oleg Tinkov in the organization redeemed entrepreneur Vladimir Potanin. After the change in the management of the bank, a number of innovations took place in it, affected organization’s credit policy.
