“Code of the Future” is the name of the project, which students in grades 8-11 will be able to join in the new academic year. They will be able to take free two-year courses and learn programming languages. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development.
The program will include four modules of 36 academic hours. Schoolchildren will be able to take them both online and offline – on the basis of regional educational platforms.
In addition, adult citizens will also be able to master the IT sector with the support of the state. Those who wish will have access to additional professional education programs in the field of IT. The courses are held as part of the Digital Economy national project. Training takes place remotely and is implemented by 2035 University and Innopolis University.
Courses of additional professional education in the field of artificial intelligence can be completed for 10% of their market value. Those who wish will also be able to join online training at the Moscow State Technical University. N. E. Bauman, ITMO University, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics and 1T Corporation.
As part of the Digital Professions project, citizens can also take refresher courses in IT and related fields at a discount. A 50% discount is provided to parents of children under three years old, from 50 to 100% – to the unemployed, disabled, students and other categories of citizens. Applications will be accepted until December.
