“Prodexpo-2024”: the capital’s food industry presented its achievements

The 31st International Exhibition “Prodexpo-2024” is taking place in Moscow. It is organized by Expocentre with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. This year, over 2.1 thousand companies from 40 countries are demonstrating product samples and technologies. Visitors pay special attention to goods produced in the capital. “The city’s food industry today is represented by more than 290 enterprises, employing over 60 thousand people. The industry is actively developing, and manufacturers offer high-quality and in-demand products, covering the internal and external needs of the food market,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. He added that the participation of Moscow companies in industry exhibitions allows them to expand their partner network, attract investors, and also reveal the production potential of the region.
The exhibition presents the capital’s manufacturers of bakery, confectionery, meat products, as well as drinks, dairy products and snacks. Among them is the Amidis Group company, which has created a line of nut snacks in natural spices. The BRPI ice cream factory presented three of its own brands – BRANDICE, NATACHA and Moscow Ice Cream. Among the new products are “Pistachio” and “Creme Brulee” ice creams. And the Cheryomushki plant presented flour confectionery products and shelf-stable cakes.
