Prince Harry reveals what he joked with William at the funeral of Elizabeth II

Prince Harry, in an interview with ITV, recalled the jokes that he exchanged with his brother – Prince William – right during the funeral of their grandmother, British Queen Elizabeth II.

The funeral procession moved along the same route along which in 1997 they carried the coffin with the body of their mother, Princess Diana. “And we were kind of jokingly saying, ‘At least we know the way,’” Harry said.

Farewell to the queen, he said, was reminiscent of his mother’s funeral. “However, the strength of the emotions was different,” notes the prince. He connects this with the fact that Princess Diana died too early (at the age of 36 – Ed.), while the queen lived a long life.

Prince Harry’s controversial 416-page memoir, The Spare One, is set to go on sale January 10. Even before the release of the publication, the memoirs caused a deafening scandal, fueled by a series of revelatory interviews, during which he himself told about the difficult relationship with the royal family, providing juicy details.
