The Vasileostrovskiy District Court received materials from cases of discrediting the Russian armed forces against Boris Vishnevsky, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, and his former colleague Maxim Reznik. The reason for compiling the protocols was “materials about the city of Bucha and a large number of civilians killed,” they said. “Rotonde” in the press service of the courts of St. Petersburg.
Mr. Vishnevsky is a deputy of the legislative assembly of St. Petersburg of the seventh convocation. Mr. Reznik was a member of the Legislative Assembly of the sixth convocation.
The materials that led to the drafting of the protocols were published on Telegram channels in April. According to part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, a deputy and his former colleague face a fine of up to 50 thousand rubles.
The cases were referred to the judge today, January 9, the dates of the preliminary hearings have not yet been set. Maxim Reznik, who is outside of Russia, has no information about his administrative case, reports zaks.ru. “I don’t know anything about it. Nobody invited me to draw up any protocols,” Mr. Vishnevsky told the publication.
