As part of the Moscow educational project “Study Day in the Library”, 110 sites were opened in the capital. This will allow all schoolchildren of the capital from 1st to 11th grade, as well as college students, to participate in the project.

As noted in the Department of Education and Science of the city of Moscow, over the past year the number of such sites has increased by 30 percent. Moreover, they are not only in the libraries themselves, but also in the houses of creativity and other leisure facilities that are located next to the libraries.

At all these sites, children and teenagers will be able not only to gain knowledge in academic subjects together with teachers, but also to hold creative meetings, prepare and defend projects. Andrey Zinin, the director of the city methodological center, noted that the project “Study Day in the Library” is developing intensively. And this means that schoolchildren have more opportunities to develop flexible skills, create creative ideas, learn to work with reliable information sources. It is especially valuable that primary school students will be able to join the project, who will now have the opportunity to learn new knowledge earlier in the capital’s libraries.
