The Basmanny Court of Moscow chose a measure of restraint for two months from the moment of extradition or detention in the Russian Federation, the press service of the court said TASS. He is accused under paragraph “d” part 2 of Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation). Milov has been put on the international wanted list. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
Mr. Milov served as Deputy Minister of Energy from May to October 2022. He was one of the initiators of the creation of a democratic coalition based on PARNAS as chairman of the “Democratic Choice”. Colleague of Alexei Navalny. He left Russia in the spring of 2021 due to fear of arrest.
