Police captain extorted a bribe from a violator of waste management rules

The head of the department of district police officers for the Ryazan district of Moscow was caught taking a bribe.
As it became known to MK, the 36-year-old captain is suspected of repeatedly receiving money from a man from August 2020 to January 2022 for not bringing him to administrative responsibility. The merchant was suspected of non-compliance with environmental legislation when handling production waste. The total amount of bribes amounted to 38 thousand rubles. As reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, if his guilt is confirmed, the officer will be dismissed from the authorities, and his leaders will be subject to disciplinary responsibility.
