Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo Park has more convenient places for contemplating nature

In Pokrovsky-Streshnevo, near Ivankovsky Ponds, the existing ones were renovated and new observation platforms and embankments were created. As part of the work to preserve and restore the territory, the reservoirs led to a single style.

Previously, in the park “Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo” there were 11 viewing platforms on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Ivankovsky ponds. These locations have been completely renovated, and soon park furniture will be installed there.

“On the 1st Ivankovsky pond, the existing picturesque promenade was reconstructed, and a new one was organized on the 5th,” says Sergey Melnikov, deputy head of the Moscow overhaul department. – These are embankments on a pile foundation, equipped according to the principle of ecotrope. Routes run along the coast and partly over water.

On the 4th Ivankovsky pond, an additional observation deck with an area of ​​more than 30 square meters was made. m, and new ones were created on the 6th and 7th Ivankovsky ponds. Soon they will have benches and swings.

All platforms and floorings were made in the same style from a special decking board and equipped with handrails. So that the lighting does not interfere with the inhabitants of the park, special lamps with small light scattering angles were selected here and installed in the fences.

“The light is directed directly at the pedestrian space and does not spread beyond the illuminated area,” Sergey Melnikov explained.

Willow, cattail, iris and other plants typical of coastal zones are now planted in the zone of decks and platforms. They will organically fit into the landscape and will not disturb the natural balance of this place.
