MBOU “Solnechnaya Secondary School” was founded in September 1982. The building was built according to a standard project, equipped with cold water supply and sewerage. The building has assembly and sports halls, equipped classrooms, a computer class and a dining room where children are fed delicious hot meals. The library has 9063 copies in its fund!
Work here began in April. Dismantling work began in one wing of the building so that the children could continue their education in the other. In total, 320 boys and girls receive knowledge at the school.
About twenty specialists are involved in the facility. Work is progressing at a fast pace. According to the contract, the repair is scheduled to be completed by December 1. But the customer and the contractor plan to complete most of the work in the fall.
“As part of the “Modernization of School Education Systems” program in the Kursk region, since 2022, an integrated approach has been applied to the overhaul of buildings of educational organizations – in other words, we are repairing buildings on a turnkey basis. This year, 19 educational organizations in 14 municipalities of the Kursk region are participating in the program. As for the Solar Secondary School, the pace of repair is quite high. The work was arranged in such a way as not to interrupt the educational process: the dismantling began from one wing, at the end of the academic year, the specialists switched to the second wing of the building,” commented Daniil Ryltsov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Education and Science of the Kursk Region.
