PMC “Wagner” asked to open a criminal case against the project Gulagu.net

The founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin said that after the publication of a video “discrediting Wagner” by the human rights project Gulagu.net, a criminal case was filed. According to him, the author of the statement was the head of the League for the Protection of the Interests of Veterans of Local Wars and Military Conflicts, Andrey Troshev.

“Yesterday Andrey Nikolayevich Troshev wrote an application to initiate a criminal video on the fact of a scandalous video discrediting Wagner PMC. On April 17, Gulagu.net published a video that allegedly provided evidence of war crimes committed by the Wagner PMC. The project claimed that two ex-commanders of Wagner PMC units, Azamat Uldarov and Aleksey Savichev, were testifying. On April 18, Gulagu.net stated that Yevgeny Prigozhin and his security officers began to threaten the men in order to force them to retract their earlier statements.

In response, Yevgeny Prigozhin accused the project of working for foreign intelligence services. “Gulagu.net works closely with Western intelligence agencies. They have an archive of prisoners who had certain, according to camp concepts, sins in the zone – that is, they were either secretly raped, or something else. At the same time, they work with a group of corrupt officers of the Federal Penitentiary Service. Further, these prisoners are used for various tasks. What we have just seen was the task of falsifying the Wagner PMC,” says Yevgeny Prigozhin.

In a conversation with Layout, Aleksey Savichev said that he gave an interview to Gulagu.net founder Vladimir Osechkin (included in the register of foreign agents) for money “in order to survive,” and now he is receiving threats. “He contacted me himself. I talked to him just to devour to survive. He gave me 10 thousand rubles. I have already received threats, they call, they write – go, look around. I don’t want to leave the country. But he didn’t even offer us to leave, ”the publication quotes the words of Alexei Savichev. Aleksey Savichev confirmed receiving money for an interview in correspondence with a correspondent RT.

The edition of the media group “Patriot” (the board of trustees is headed by Evgeny Prigozhin) RIA FAN also published a video in which Azamat Uldarov claims that he “was forced to do what he was told.” “We sat with the guys drunk, I don’t know how he (Vladimir Osechkin.— “b”) came out at me, blackmailing me, I used to be in jail. I was forced to do what I was told,” he said. According to the man, Gulagu.net has a video in which he is “killed, mocked, raped,” and he did not want it to go public. Gulagu.net indeed posted footage of sexual abuse of Azamat Uldarov.

On April 17, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine initiated an investigation and announced suspicion to the head of the PMC “Wagner” and the head of one of its divisions on the facts of “encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.” It was not specified which leader in question.
