On April 24, the final gala concert of the Opera Institute project will take place at the Zaryadye Moscow Concert Hall: 20 best finalists will perform, who will be selected by an expert commission from among teachers and fans of vocal art.
The project provides an opportunity to improve the professional level in an online format. The educational program was based on classes in linguistic vocal phonetics (Russian, Italian, German, French). The musicians also got acquainted with the history of opera, performing styles, and management. There were classes in acting, stage movement, vocals. For four months, the vocalists presented arias, which they discussed with the teachers of the project. You can cast your vote for the participants by watching their performance on the official website and on the Odnoklassniki platform, which is a partner of the project. The participant who received the most votes will be among the top 20 finalists and will perform at a concert in Zaryadye.
“This project is interesting for all participants and for me no less! We share our experience, I confess, I learn a lot of useful things for myself. For example, the girls and I studied the German repertoire together, with great interest, exchanging important and valuable information and sharing our impressions and observations,” says Bolshoi Theater soloist Agunda Kulaeva, who will also perform at Zaryadye along with her students.
Other teachers of the project will also take part in the concert: soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Elena Morozova, soloist of the Metropolitan Opera and guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Lyubov Petrova, soloist of the Moscow Novaya Opera Theater named after. Kolobova Alexey Tatarintsev. The concert will be accompanied by the Moscow Chamber Orchestra Musica Viva. Conductor – Mihran Aghajanyan.
