Piskarev asked the security forces to check the statements of Fridman, Galkin and Urgant

The head of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, Vasily Piskarev, said that he sent an appeal to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB of Russia with a request to provide data on relocants that are involved in the financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He also asked law enforcement agencies to check the statements of presenter Ivan Urgant, businessman Mikhail Fridman, artist Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent), artist Alexander Revva and presenter Alexander Gudkov.

“In accordance with the instructions of the State Duma regarding the legal assessment of the illegal actions of persons who left the Russian Federation in connection with the conduct of a special military operation, I ask you to provide the requested data, as well as to carry out, within the scope of their competence, a check of the information contained in the public domain,” notes the deputy’s statement published in his Telegram channel document.

Also on the list of Russian citizens, information about whom, in the deputy’s opinion, needs to be verified, is the son of the Chairman of the Government of the Samara Region Viktor Kudryashov, Yuri Kudryashov, fashion historian Alexander Vasilyev and blogger Ruslan Usachev.

On October 9, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Russian citizens who have left the country recently are not in danger when returning to their homeland. The next day, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that among those who relocated there were those who financed the Armed Forces of Ukraine or criticized Russia. He threatened relocants with articles about treason and a stage to “where there is no summer.”

October 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated, which does not see anything immoral in a person’s choice of place of residence. According to him, one must judge by the behavior of each individual person and his actions.

An appeal to the Investigative Committee with a request to check information about possible financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Mikhail Fridman sent Member of the Federation Council from the Zaporozhye region Dmitry Rogozin. Deputy Alexander Khinshtein called for an investigation into Yuri Kudryashov.
