On Monday, April 8, it became known that PFC Kuban and head coach Vadim Evseev have ceased cooperation. The team’s press service commented that the contract with the specialist was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties.

Under the leadership of the 48-year-old mentor, the southerners managed to play 17 official matches. The last meeting of “Kuban” with an opponent from Novorossiysk on April 7 was unsuccessful. The Krasnodar team lost to Chernomorets in the hero city with a score of 3:0.

“For 7 months, the coaching staff and I have done a lot of work, but, unfortunately, we were not able to achieve our goals. Kuban is a good team and should be much higher in the standings. Therefore, I consider my decision to be a difficult, but honest one – to leave the coaching post. I wish the team good luck; they face the difficult task of maintaining their registration in the First League. I’m sure “Kuban” will cope,” – Vadim Evseev spoke about his departure.

Senior coach Sergei Tomarov and physical training coach Ivan Drannikov are leaving the “Yellow-Greens” along with their mentor. Both specialists became part of the team last fall, along with Vadim Evseev. The management and team of the team thanked the coaching staff for their work and wished them success.

After 25 games, Kuban is only in the penultimate (17th) line of the standings, gaining 22 points. The last place belongs to the Astrakhan team “Volgar” with the same result.

The southerners will play their next match on the evening of April 14. At home, the “yellow-greens” will host KAMAZ from Naberezhnye Chelny.

In mid-March, MK in Kuban wrote that FC Krasnodar is again headed by Murad Musaev.
