Young chess players from Kalmykia became prize-winners in Volgograd

A team of Kalmyk chess players became the winner of interregional competitions.
On April 7, the 2024 Spring Club Cup in rapid chess was held in Volgograd. In the junior league competitions, Kalmykia was represented by students of the republican chess school. They finished third out of 12 teams.
Bronze medals of the tournament were won by Erdni Ebirov, Ayush Angrykov, David Ebirov and Elzyata Levgeeva. The guys from Elista performed under the guidance of coach-teacher Aldar Indzhiev.
