The sudden death of Diana Gurtskaya’s husband Peter Kucherenko shocked the stars of show business. Peter died while returning from a business trip in Cuba. He became ill on the plane. Diana married a lawyer, professor of the Department of Constitutional Law of the Peoples Friendship University of Russia Petr Kucherenko in September 2005. On June 29, 2007, their son Konstantin was born. In recent years, Petr worked as Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The artist also admitted that she and her husband dream of another child. “If the Lord will give, I will only be happy!” – said the artist.

Family friends cannot believe Peter’s departure. Stylist George Rovals, who has been friends with Diana and Peter for more than twenty years, also cannot recover.

– We are all in shock: no one could even think that this would happen, – Rovals sighs. – Peter was a healthy man: he never complained about sores. He was very fond of jokes, never lost heart. When we met, he was always humorous. A great tragedy happened. And what Diana is now – words can not convey. They had such a wonderful family. Peter was Diana’s eye, he was her sight, you know? Terrible blow! The day before yesterday I was in Moscow, we called up with Robert, we thought to meet. Everyone was in high spirits and suddenly such grief.

– How can Diana survive such grief?

– Now it needs to be left, not to be tormented by questions. Of course, she must hold on, because she has a child. She must not give up. Behind her, besides her son, there are a lot of people whom she helps. You know that she has been doing charity work for many years, doing everything possible and impossible for blind children … She is a kind-hearted person. Never refuses anyone. And Petya was the same. What a pity, even the words can not be found.
