Blogger Elena Blinovskaya continued to collect money from subscribers

In the blog of Elena Blinovskaya, who became a defendant in the tax evasion case for almost a billion rubles, an announcement appeared about collecting donations among subscribers. Earlier, the court banned Blinovskaya from accessing the Internet as a restrictive measure, but posts continue to appear on her pages. One of the latest was a request from fans to transfer money to her to pay for lawyers.

“I will be judged for being myself,” the post says on behalf of Blinovskaya. “For supporting and helping people…”

Further in the post follows a complaint against the court, which “blocked all accounts and left them without the opportunity to live and fight,” and a request for help with paying for lawyers: “I have no one else to turn to but you <...> Every ruble counts.”

The fast ends with an appeal to the Lord with a plea to “give strength” and bank details.

The case against Blinovskaya was opened in April amid similar investigations against other popular bloggers. At the end of last month, Blinovskaya was detained at the border of the Russian Federation while trying to leave for Belarus. It was reported that the suspect pleaded guilty and promised to pay all tax debts, and that she immediately transferred a large amount to the budget. However, in mid-May, the head of the TFR, Alexander Bastrykin, said that at that time Blinovskaya had repaid only a debt in the amount of 10 million rubles.

Representatives of Blinovskaya declared Shot that her blog was hacked and that neither she nor her team made any posts.
