Monthly cash payments (MCP) to combat veterans upon first application will be assigned without deducting the cost of a set of social services (NSS). The corresponding resolution was approved by the Russian government, reports “RIA News” with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Labor.
“A government decree was signed approving a new procedure for providing a set of social services to combat veterans. Now, at the first application, veterans will be assigned a monthly cash payment in full: without deduction from the NSO,” the press service reported.
The ministry recalled that previously the veteran received EDV with the deduction of the cost of the NSU, which includes medicines, vouchers for sanatorium-resort treatment, free travel on suburban railway transport, as well as on intercity transport to the place of treatment and back.
The Ministry of Labor noted that before the government decree, in order to abandon the NSO, it was necessary to submit a separate application to the Social Fund. At the same time, the amount of the monthly allowance was adjusted from January 1 of the year following the submission of the application, the press service added.
From February 1, 2023, the monthly allowance for combat veterans without deduction of non-taxable income is RUB 3,913.6.
