In the Perm Territory, some of the mobilized had to be sent home due to the fact that there were not enough places at the collection points. They will stay there until further notice.
According to the government of the Russian region, the situation was taken under personal control by the governor of the Perm Territory, Dmitry Makhonin, writes RBC. Initially, these mobilized people were planned to be sent for training at the Totsky training ground.
The government of the region added that after a conversation with representatives of the military registration and enlistment office and 25 conscripts from Berezniki, it was decided to send them to the Totsky training ground. The rest, mobilized from other territories of the region, will be at home. Nevertheless, they reminded that these citizens are still mobilized, they have summons, and they can be sent to serve at any moment.
The day before, October 17, State Duma deputy from the Russian region Andrey Gurulev said that in Transbaikalia several citizens, called up as part of partial mobilization, were sent home. The reason is their alcohol addiction. According to him, with such people, other mobilized “do not even want to perform a common task because of their moral and volitional qualities.”
Since the announcement of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation, there have been repeated reports of errors by the competent authorities. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that “there is enough stupidity” and instructed to correct the mistakes, mistakenly mobilized to return home, and analyze each case separately.
