Parenting directors’ advisors to create “parenting matrices”

On the basis of the four leading pedagogical universities of the country – the Moscow State Pedagogical University, the Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University, the Tula State Pedagogical University and the Armavir State Pedagogical University, an advanced training program was launched for advisers to school directors on education.

It includes educational intensives, master classes, lectures, visits to educational organizations for the exchange of experience, the study of modern methods of communication with children and adolescents to involve them in various activities.

The classes will be taught by university professors, specialists from the Rosdetcenter, experts from the Russian society “Knowledge”, as well as from some children’s centers. More than 1,000 people are expected to be trained.

According to Natalia Naumova, director of the Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Education, Supplementary Education and Children’s Recreation of the Ministry of Education of Russia, the adviser to the director of education plays an important role in the education of children.

– These are mentors who inspire new discoveries, support the ideas and initiatives of children. These are professionals with advanced experience, able to adapt the best for the educational organization and each child, to instill and increase love and respect for the national heritage of Russia, – said Natalia Naumova.

According to Alexander Kudryashov, director of the Rosdetcenter, advisers to education directors not only involve children and youth in public life, but also do a lot of work with the parent community.

“A child’s success at school is the result of the joint efforts of directors’ advisers, teachers and parents,” said Alexander Kudryashov. – Since advisers to directors play an important role in the educational and upbringing process, they must constantly improve their professional competencies.

According to Tatyana Vladimirova, Vice-Rector for Public Relations of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, the implementation of the program for the training of advisers to the director of education is a responsible and valuable task for the university.

“The accumulated experience of the teaching staff of the university in the field of training teachers, counselors, educational activities give us the opportunity to broadcast traditional and advanced technologies for working with children and youth,” said Tatyana Vladimirova. – We are glad to host training participants in the capital of our Motherland, we are confident that the acquired knowledge and practical skills will be implemented in the life of schools, colleges and technical schools.

After the training course, the advisors to the parenting directors will have to present their final projects, the working title of which is the “parenting matrix”. The matrix should be designed in the form of a grid of thematic events for one academic quarter. It is expected that over 10,000 counselors will be trained during the Year of the Teacher and Mentor.
