Paint for Windows 11 introduces a dark theme and new features

American corporation Microsoft released An update to the Paint app in Windows 11 that adds support for a dark theme design and new features, including improved scaling controls. The new preview build of Paint is currently only available to members of the Windows Insider Program.

Users will be able to change the theme in the application settings, other Windows services also received a dark theme earlier. including Teams. Thanks to the new scaling function, it will be more convenient to place content within the program workspace, it will now be possible to zoom in and out in smaller increments, and it will be possible to enter your own scale value. Also in Paint, the image will now quickly adjust to the size of the window using the quick scale optimization feature.

Paint has redesigned some dialog boxes, including Image Properties, and improved support for keyboard shortcuts and accessibility features. In August 2021 Microsoft introduced the first redesign of Paint in 12 years, the new app features Windows 11 features such as rounded corners and a softer design.
