Overhaul completed in the eight-story building on Pavel Korchagin Street

In the house of 1958 on Pavel Korchagin Street in the Alekseevsky district of Moscow, major repairs have been completed.

The residential building was erected according to an individual project in the Soviet neoclassical style.

According to the press service of the Capital Repair Fund, a set of works has been completed in the building at 8 Pavel Korchagin Street.

“Particular attention was paid to the preservation of the historical portrait of the house. At the first stage of the overhaul of the facade, the planes were cleaned of accumulated dirt, the brickwork was restored, and then an anti-fungal and anti-corrosion agent was applied. Then they made hydrophobization to provide protection from the negative effects of precipitation, ”the press service of the FCR noted.

To restore and preserve the architectural decor, modern and high-quality domestic materials were used. Specialists restored and painted decorative elements, slopes and interfloor belt.

Entrance groups were replaced in the building, balcony slabs were repaired and screens were replaced. As the final stage of the facade repair, window sills, external drain pipes were replaced and a blind area with drainage trays was equipped.

The total area of ​​the renovated facade is more than 10 thousand square meters. m.

House 8 on Pavel Korchagin Street has a complex shape in plan. The facades are divided into two parts by an interstorey belt and end with a crowning cornice with modules. The walls of the outer facades are finished with ceramic blocks, and the courtyard facades are made of brick. Profiled balcony slabs support the brackets, the portals of the entrance groups are decorated with floral ornaments. The windows of the lower floor are decorated with sandriks and window sill cornices. At the level of the third floor, part of the windows are decorated with flower girls.
