Orel students are ready to take on the “Turgenev Challenge”

On December 23, students from higher educational institutions in Orel will take to the start line to determine the fastest and strongest participants as part of an athletics competition called the Turgenev Challenge.
According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Oryol Region, during the competition the winners will be determined in races at distances of 60, 200, 400 and 800 meters, as well as in the men’s and women’s 4×200 meter relay races. Participation in competitions is permitted in teams of no more than eight athletes.
Registration of participants will begin at 9:00 am, and the competition itself starts at 11:00. The competition will take place in the Olympic Reserve School arena.
These competitions provide an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their athletic skills and identify the best representatives of athletics among the student audience in Oryol.
