The Dina team of the Pskov Amateur Football League (LFL) was disqualified for the season. This decision was made by the control and disciplinary committee following the results of the match “Dina” – “Real”, according to the official LFL group.

The decision to disqualify is due to “a fact contrary to the basic principle of the competition, which entails an automatic forfeit in the 1/8 final match of the opening Futsal Cup of the ’24 season,” the group said.

Thus, the Dina team will be disqualified for 1 season. If players are caught showing aggression towards competition participants and match officials or calling for violence, the team will be suspended from participation in all LFL competitions, the organizers warned.

In addition, Dina team player Sergei Palchikov was disqualified for a calendar year. He will not be able to take part in all competitions under the auspices of the LFL. After that, conditional restrictions will apply to him for another year. Sergei Palchikov received a punishment for hitting a player from the opposing team in the face.

“After the end of the season opening Cup, the regulations of the Amateur Football League will be changed in the direction of tightening discipline at League matches for players, managers and fans of the team,” added the organizers of the competition.
