On City Day, the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in the largest open amphitheater in Moscow

This year the capital celebrates its 875th birthday. Festive events on City Day will be organized in all districts and districts of Moscow.
Yes, September 10th “Singing Field” Yauza Park to host a concert by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra “Russian Philharmonic”. In a programme “Best city in the world” famous works about Moscow will be performed, as well as waltzes by Russian composers: Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Dunaevsky, Sviridov.
In the open air under the shade of trees, more than 60 musicians will gather on one stage! The entire instrumentation of the Russian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra will be presented on stage – bowed string instruments, woodwinds and brass, percussion, backing vocals.
“Singing Field” is the largest outdoor amphitheater in Moscow, the main outdoor concert venue of the North-Eastern District, accommodating more than 1,500 spectators. It hosts musical groups, city festivals and holidays. The site is located in the floodplain of the Yauza River, not far from the intersection of Dezhnev passage with Zapovednaya Street (Babushkinskaya metro station).
The event will take place within “Music season of Shaposhnikov” – a joint project of the Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Alexey Shaposhnikov and Yauza park.

- Belyaev Alexey Alexandrovich — Prefect of the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow
- Shiladzhyan Gayane Azarikovna — director, general producer and initiator of the creation of the Moscow Symphony Orchestra “Russian Philharmonic”
The event will take place from 19:00 to 22:00.
